Who we are

Al Rouby Customs Clearance & Logistics (“Al-Rouby”, “we”) runs this website and is responsible for the personal data described here.

What we collect and why

  • Quote form: name, company, phone or WhatsApp number, email and the shipment details you type (service, port, shipment mode, containers, message), to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
  • Email, phone and WhatsApp: your message and contact details, to reply and handle the shipment you ask about.
  • Visit statistics: page address, referring site, browser and device type and country, without cookies and without a profile of you, to see which pages help visitors.
  • Server logs: IP address, time, requested page and browser for every request, to keep the site running and secure.
  • Language choice: stored in your own browser when you pick a language, to open the site in that language next time.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

Services that process data for us

  • Formspree (United States) delivers the quote form to our email.
  • Umami Cloud (European Union) produces the anonymous visit statistics. It sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses.
  • Hostinger hosts the website and Cloudflare protects and speeds it up. Both keep short-term server logs; Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from bots.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) handles WhatsApp messages under its own privacy policy.

Fonts, films and site search are served from our own server: your browser does not contact Google or any other third party for them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries, messages and the records of completed business for five years, then delete them. Visit statistics contain no personal data. Server logs are deleted by the hosting providers within a few weeks.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop using it. Write to info@al-rouby.com; we answer within 30 days.

Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) applies to us. If you are in the European Union, the GDPR also gives you these rights, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this notice, we update the date at the top of this page.
