Export Customs Clearance in Egypt

Al Rouby supports Egyptian manufacturers and exporters with export customs clearance, document review and coordination with the carrier. Freight forwarding and inland collection can be included by agreement. Tell us what is ready, where the goods are going and which parts of the shipment you need us to coordinate.

What can Al Rouby coordinate for your export?

We review the export file, coordinate customs preparation and follow the handover to the carrier within the agreed service scope. You can discuss clearance on its own or combine it with freight forwarding and inland logistics.

Start with the goods, destination, collection point and ready date. These details help us identify the work needed before giving a shipment-specific quotation.

When should you involve the export team?

Contact us while the shipment and documents can still be adjusted. This allows the exporter, carrier and receiving party to agree the required information, booking cut-offs and collection arrangements before the goods move.

If a carrier is already nominated, tell us what has been booked and which responsibilities remain open. For the preparation checklist, use our existing export shipment guide.

How does Nafeza fit into the export file?

NAFEZA describes the Unique Consignment Reference (UCR) within its developed electronic export workflow. Confirm the current filing steps for the intended gateway and keep that reference connected to the commercial file.

Agree who supplies the data, who submits or authorises the declaration and who follows up requests for clarification. Export preparation uses its own workflow; the import ACID checklist should not be reused as an export procedure.

How are customs and carrier handovers connected?

The customs file, transport booking and collection plan need compatible milestones. We coordinate the agreed customs work with the carrier handover, while the exporter confirms when the goods and packing are ready.

Ask the carrier to confirm cargo acceptance and the receiving cut-off. If inland collection is included, agree the collection address, access, loading responsibility and timing with the receiving terminal.

What should the quotation define?

Ask for the customs service, inland transport, freight and other agreed work to be identified separately. Confirm who pays third-party charges and what information or event may require the quotation to be revised.

Destination import clearance, insurance, packing and certificate applications need their own agreed responsibility. Do not assume that Egyptian export clearance includes those tasks or guarantees a departure or delivery date.
